Evergreen Forest Products is hiring CDL A Dedicated Regional Flatbed Drivers in Birmingham and Thorsby, AL. Compensation

• Average weekly pay: $1,200 - $1,700+ 
  • Competitive pay by the load
  • 1-5 loads per day

Home Time, Route, & Schedule

• Home time: Home weekends & home some nights during the week
• Schedule: Typically leave out Sunday/Monday and home Friday/Saturday
  •  2-3 overnight routes per week where driver will be staying in company paid lodging
• Route: Southeast region including AL, TN, GA, MS, FL, IN, KY, SC, AR, & NC 
• Level of Touch: Secure & unsecure load
  • Some tarping using light weight tarps, strapping, and binding 

Equipment

• Truck fleet is less than 5 years old!
• Freightliner Cascadia day cab trucks
• Automatic transmission 
• Governed speed: 70 mph on cruise, 68 mph on the pedal
• Samsara inward & outward facing cameras
• ELD equipped using Samsara system

Qualifications

• Must be at least 23 years of age  
• Must have CDL A license 
• Must have a minimum of 3 years verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience
• No DUI/DWIs in last 5 years 
• No more than 2 driving infractions in the last 3 years
• Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations 
• Must be able to pass a required pre-employment drug screen & background check
• Hiring Radius: Drivers must live within 50 miles of Birmingham or Thorsby, AL
