TLS LLC is looking for drivers to run lanes heading into and out of the western and central parts of New York state (NO NYC or Long Island). Primary Locations are the greater Youngstown OH region, Scranton to Allentown PA Harrisburg Region, Some Western New Jersey (North of Trenton west of I-95 and I-287), Some Baltimore to Northern DC area, and the I 81 corridor in VA north of Roanoke. There is some Drop and hook and live loading and unloading. TLS works with reputable shippers and receivers to minimize dock time. Primary products hauled are fresh chicken (drop and hook account next to no live loading) Dairy products (80% Preloaded and drops) General frozen goods mostly live loading and unloading.

TLS is a company we want you to be able to build a great life around with no force time out with the average company driver getting home on the weekend unless wanting to stay out. All major holidays are paid if your home or if you are out.

Compensation 

  • Average weekly gross pay: $1,100 - $1,500
    • Starting at 50-58 CPM based on verifiable OTR experience
    • Range of 1,800-3,000 miles weekly
    • 1 CPM increase after 6 months
    • 1 CPM increase per year starting 1 year after hire date
    • Guaranteed Pay: For 2175 miles per week
      • Must be available for at least 6 days of dispatch
    • All miles paid, loaded and unloaded 
  • Additional Pay: 
    • Layover pay: $175 per day
    • Extra Stop Pay: $25 per stop
    • Breakdown/Bad Weather pay: $175 per day
    • Paid $25/ hour if detained at shipper or receiver (on-time based on ELD on property time)
  • Bonuses include: 
    • Safety Bonus based on hub miles (IFTA)
      • Starts as 1 CPM at 1 year of employment
      • Increases 1 CPM each year of employment, no cap
    • Sign On Bonus: $500 after 6 months and $1000 at 1-year Anniversary
      • Based upon no FMCSA moving violations
    • $75 paid for each passed DOT inspection
    • Unlimited Driver Referral Bonus: $500 after 6 months
  • Paid via direct deposit weekly on Friday

Home Time, Route and Schedule

  • Home Time: Home time is based on your choice – We will do our best to work with to meet your needs and desired home time
  • Schedule: Sunday – Friday afternoon schedule – no weekends if desired! (Or out until you want to come home)
  • Average Route: 300-350 miles per day with 95% moving in North East: PA, NY, VA, OH, CT, VT, NH, ME, MD, DE
    • No Force Dispatch To: New York City & Long Island, New Jersey and Boston
  • Level of Touch: No Touch Freight
    • Some lanes are drop and hook and some bumping docks

Equipment

  • 2018 or newer Volvo VNR 640/670 Trucks
  • Entire fleet has all automatic transmissions
  • 3000 watt inverters
  • Outward facing dashcams

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 23 years of age  
  • Must have CDL A license 
  • Must have a minimum of 6 months verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience 
  • Proficient in using standard mobile devices
  • No DUI/DWIs or reckless driving charges in last 3 years 
  • Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations 
  • Must be able to pass a required pre-employment drug screen and have a current DOT physical
  • Primary Hiring States: New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Virginia, Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire
    • Will also hire drivers outside of primary hiring states
