Company Driver is the primary driving role at Merx Global. Go Over-the-Road with us and see the entire country while you earn top of the market wages on each mile you run! Our drivers work in high-quality equipment featuring an APU and Inverter, as well as a fridge and double bunk in all trucks.

Our freight is focused in the Midwest, the Southeast, and Texas; however, we can send you throughout the entire country or match you with one of our various semi-dedicated lanes if you prefer greater consistency and home time.

Compensation

• Average Annual Pay: $91,000-$104,000
  • 70 CPM
  • 80 CPM with Hazmat
• Average Weekly Miles: 2,500-3,000
• Driver Referral Bonus: $1,000
• No Escrow
• 1099 position
• Paid via direct deposit weekly

Home Time, Route, & Schedule

• Home Time: Every 1-3 weeks
  • Weekly if living in the Midwest (Home Weekends)
• Route: Running Midwest and Southern states
• Level of Touch: No Touch Freight

Equipment

• 2022 or newer Freightliner Cascadia tractors with APU, Inverter, Fridge, Microwave, Double Bunk
• Automatic 

Qualifications 

• Must be at least 23 years of age 
• Must be U.S Citizen
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record.
• Minimum of 2-years of professional driving experience with a verifiable safety record.
• No more than 10 jobs in 3 years
• No more than 3 moving violations in past 3 years
• No more than 3 accidents in past 5 years with no more than 1 accident occurring in the preceding 12 months
• No truck abandonment
• Familiarity with state and federal regulations governing the transportation industry.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and compliance.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Basic computer skills for electronic logs and communication.
• Ability to sit for extended periods and withstand long hours of driving.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical and possess a valid DOT medical card
