Reworld is hiring CDL A local truck drivers in Niagara Falls, NY. Drivers are responsible for transporting hazardous and non-hazardous waste between Reworld facilities and client sites. Reworld is leading the charge to a carbon-negative future through revolutionary sustainable materials management solutions that reduce, reuse, recycle and reimagine waste for the benefit of society and the environment.

Compensation

• Average weekly pay: $30+/hr + $60 pier diem for overnight trips (potential for 1+ per week)
  • 50 hours per week, OT included
• Bonuses:
  • $5,000 sign on bonus
  • $2,500 unlimited driver referral bonus
• Paid via direct deposit weekly

Home time, Route & Schedule

• Home time: Home daily with 1+ potential overnight trip per week 
• Coverage areas: Primarily New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Michigan, Massachusetts and Vermont 
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, some weekends
• Day shift, flexible start times averaging between 5am-6am; shifts range from 8-12 hours daily
  • Typical hours:  50-60 hour per week
• Level of touch: touch freight

Equipment:

• 10 and 13 speed Freightliner (2017-2018)
• Roll off trucks
• End dumps
• Vacuum Tanker
• Manual transmission

Qualifications

• Must have valid CDL A License
• Must be at least 21 years old (required for interstate commercial driving per federal regulations)
• Minimum of 2 years of Class A commercial driving experience
• Tanker required
• Hazmat Preferred
• Acceptable driving record
• Must have current medical card within 6 months
• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to walk, stand, sit, and climb for extended periods
• Ability to grip, reach, push, pull, and lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
• Willingness to work in a variety of weather conditions
• Adequate vision and hearing to safely perform job duties
• Must be located within 30 miles of Niagara Falls, NY
