Rocktown Transport LLC is hiring CDL A Local Tanker Drivers in Harrisonburg, VA.  Drivers will be safely delivering multiple loads of sucrose from Harrisonburg VA to Mount Crawford VA daily. Rocktown Transport LLC is a family-owned contract carrier based in the Shenandoah Valley, specializing in the transportation of agricultural commodities including live poultry, bulk feed, and related ingredients. Compensation

• Average gross weekly pay: $1,750
  • Weekday (M-F) daily pay: $280
  • Weekend (Sat & Sun) daily pay: $325
• Bonuses:
  • Sign on bonus: $1,500 paid after 45 days employed
  • Driver referral bonus: $1,500 paid after 30 days, $500 paid after 120 days
  • Annual holiday bonus
• Paid via direct deposit bi-weekly

Home Time, Route, & Schedule

• Home time: Home daily 
• Schedule: 13 days on, 1 day off
  • Off every other Saturday
• Shift: Day shift, 10:00am start time
  • 5-6 hours per day
• Route: From Harrisonburg VA to Mount Crawford VA 
  • 5-6 loads per day
• Level of Touch: Drivers will be using hoses to unload the sucrose into storage tankers & must be able to climb on top of tanker

Equipment

• Late model Peterbilt and Kenworth Trucks
• Manual transmission
• Inward & outward facing cameras

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age  
• Must have CDL A license 
• Must have a minimum of 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience
• Must have tanker endorsement or be willing to obtain
• Must be able to operate a manual transmission
• Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations 
• Must be able to pass a required pre-employment drug screen 
• Hiring Radius: Drivers must live within 40 miles of Harrisonburg, VA or be willing to relocate for this position
